The kids Christmas program. Try playing where's the Brown kids instead of where's Waldo to find them ;o) Zach's probably the easiest because he's always goofing around making silly faces when it's picture taking time.
My cousin got married the week before Christmas so it was a good excuse for us to be able to walk around and see the lights at Temple Square. It's alway such a breath taking sight.
I know this picture of the girls is dark but I love it!!!!
After the temple we went to their reception at Rice Eccles stadium (the boys we're having a hard time with the location ;o) It was a beautiful setting. Gracie came over to me holding this bouquet...not sure which bridesmade she stole it from but she was so excited to be holding it so I had to get a picture.
It was a great night of dancing. Here's some pictures with my mom and her two sisters. It's a rare occasion when these three are together at the same time so these pictures are keepsakes for sure.
And Gracie dancing her with her daddy....so cute!!!
We got together on the Monday(FHE) before Christmas and did a tradition we haven't done since my Dad was alive. He loved these cookies and they were a tradition when he was a kid as well. (My grandma L use to make them). These Santa cookies are A LOT of work but went really fast with the process we had going. Everyone had a job and we were able to pump out 60+ of them in about and hour. When we were kids this was a day long event. We all took a few plates and gave them to someone as a service. Our family chose to give some to a single lady in our ward. The reaction we got from her when we took them to her was priceless and something I hope my kids will remember forever. She was so honored to be a part of our tradition and that we had thought of her. Here are a few pictures from the night.
Zach sport'in a Snowman hat. He was cute! He would sing, sway back and forth and light up all at the same time.
The kids making their Christmas tree cookies.
Josh enjoying some punch from the coveted moose egg nog cups.
The finished product...aren't they cute?!?!
And of course it's not Christmas without some fun in the snow!!!
