Sad day for Gracie!!

This week has been a really tough one for Gracie. She's been sick with a cold and a runny nose all week. She woke up this morning with a 103 degree fever and has been crying and mopey all day. Well if that wasn't enough I had just gotten her out of the bath to bring down her fever and get her ready for bed. I went outside for a minute to round up the kids and she escaped out the door behind me. In the meantime she had gotten up on the porch swing, she must have fallen off of it head first because Josh heard her screaming and ran to pick her up. She was bleeding from the mouth all over him. After trying to get her all cleaned up we noticed she was missing her front tooth. It was shoved up into her gums. We got a hold of a pediatric dentist late on a Sunday night and took her down to see him. We have to wait and see what we'll be doing to fix it or have it removed. It's so sad to look at my little 2 year old and not see her front tooth. I feel so bad for her!! She was feeling better when I snapped this picture of her. I showed it to her and she started to laugh! If anyone has any suggestions or has had this happen to their kid let me know what you did. The dentist said there are so many options and I'm not sure which one to do.

Congratulations Devin!!!

This past friday we attended Devin's graduation from BYU. Congrats Devin-we're so proud of you!!!! He's single with a bachelor's degree so if anyone has any good prospects to set him up on a date with, let me know. (I'm definitely going to get in trouble for posting this!)

Fun in the Sun at St. George and Zion Nat'l Park

For Spring Break this year we decided to go south and enjoy some warm weather. We took the kids to see the St. George Temple and the visitors center. We also went and saw a lot of historic church sites like Brigham Young's Winter home (picture below the temple). Growing up my dad would take us kids to all the church sites where ever we were so I think this kind of rubbed off on me. I find it very interesting to see and learn about what the early church members went through to establish this church. It makes me very appreciative of all the amenities we have in this day and age. We also went and saw the movie "Emma" wich was excellent! I highly suggest you all go and see it!

We had a beautiful condo in Green Valley. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool and us girls just watched and tried to get a tan. (Didn't put any pictures of us doing that.) Thanks to the dads for getting in the pool and keeping the kids entertained!

Fiesta Fun in St. George was a lot of fun! The guys went golfing the day before so I think the practice they got helped them with the minature golf game we had going. The kids had fun playing all the arcade games and we also got a competitive air hockey game going. What can I say, our family's REALLY competitive went it comes to games!

Hiking and enjoying the beauty of Zion Nat'l Park. We definitely live in the most beautiful place in the country!

Some of us were pooped out after 4 days in the sun and a "little" hike in Zion.
